What are some pros and cons of having a photo booth at a wedding?

Pros- more fun photos, something to keep guests busy with
Cons- costs more money, may distract guests from other activities (dancing)

I only have good things to say about having a photo booth. Everyone had a blast at our wedding! I would definitely recommend doing it!

I loved having a photo booth at my wedding. It gave my guests other options of having fun (ours had props and other fun stuff to use). Not all people like dancing at weddings so having alternative things to do is nice. It also allowed us to have pics of our guests doing silly things or get group photos that our photographer may not have gotten during the reception. 
I will say though that my one biggest regret was not having a videographer. While pictures are a great way of capturing a memory, actually seeing a video of my wedding and reception would have been so awesome because pictures can only capture so much. We did a choreographed dance with our wedding party instead of a first dance, and people recorded it on their cell phones and sent me the video. I constantly look at those videos because it’s such a great memory of my wedding, the pics don’t do it justice!

I really wanted one but in the end we didn't book one. I didn't miss it, though I always enjoy them when I am a wedding guest.
