Is it weird to change in front of your two year old?

My son is 2 and some times I will get changed when hes in the room. I leave the door to the bathroom open when I go because he will inevitably follow me in anyways. Hes also autistic and needs the constant supervision and eyes on him. His dad gets super freaked out by it. He gets weirded out if our son goes into the bathroom while using the toilet or he will kick him out of the room if hes trying to get dressed. I totally understand and get that he wants and enjoys his privacy and would never shame him for that. But he makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong if I undress and change in front of my toddler. Is it weird or is my fiance just big on privacy?

I don’t think it is no, I’m 20 and still don’t care about changing clothes in front of my mum aslong as I’m not showing anything like boobs etc but that’s because I’m more aware of what is considered my private parts, he is 2 and when he is more aware he will probably choose for himself when he no longer wants to see haha, totally down to personal preference I think

It's not weird at all and he needs to think about how it's going to be potty training. Kids need supervised and he's not old enough to know anyways. My son is 2 and he goes into the bathroom with me and he goes in with my husband. We don't find it weird at all.

Hell my mom is 49 and I am 21 and I could care less if we see each other naked lol. She had breast cancer and when she had her breast reconstruction surgery I would have to help her shower. I think it’s just a guy thing honestly, because my dad always wanted his privacy changing or going to the bathroom from when I was little.

I don't think its weird at all. We're very open about being naked in our house with our 3 yr old. We all shower together hang around the house and even sleep in the same bed naked. I'm sure there will come a time when we no longer do that but not yet.

no. it's just a body. it's not like your having sex in front of your kid. just changing clothes and going to the bathroom

My 8 year old and 4 year old still want to take showers with me. They are both girls. I don't think it's odd.

My son is 5(also autistic) and follows me to the bathroom still, he even sits in there while I shower and when I get dressed.

I take baths with my 2 year old, I don’t really get bothered by him seeing me naked at all, hes 2 🤷🏼‍♀️ my SO will get dressed in front of him without caring too. Idk I don’t think it’s weird at all, I’m just from an open family though, my mom walked around the house naked till I was a teenager, none of us cared, I took baths with her till I was too big to fit in the bathtub with her.

I don’t think it’s weirs I’ve been doing it with my son since he was born he’s now 3 I dress in front of him if he comes in like you said it’s inevitable they follow you everywhere use the bathroom as well. He’s taken showers with me before especially if were in a rush or just to get it done I’ll have him shower with me get it out the way.
