Would u be offended if your bf’s mom always says “you’re so lucky to have my son” but never said anything about how he’s the lucky one?

So this woman (who quite frankly wasn’t the best mom. She was abusive to her kids but straightened up when she found god - idk how my bf forgave her but he’s close to her now so I’m trying to be close to her too.) ALWAYS tells me “oh you’re SO lucky to have my son” but has never once in the four years of dating, has she said anything remotely sweet to me as a person. Nothing that comes to mind at least... only like semi back handed compliments (I used to have blue/purple/green hair and when I went back to normal hair she said “oh you look much more beautiful now than before”) I can’t help but feel offended sometimes or like she doesn’t like me. Idk.. is this worth being offended? She’s never said the opposite like “he’s so lucky to have you”
