Evening primerose pills to induce labor?

I’m due the 22nd of December but I really want my little guy here before Xmas eve 😫 I’ve heard a few things about these pills & kind of want to try them..has any one tried them to induce labor? if so did they work for you & how did u use them? At how many weeks how many times a days?

I would suggest to not induce or try to induce. Your baby will let you know when they are ready. They may not be ready when you want them to be. My daughter was due the 9th of dec and didn’t show up till the 17th. My son was due July 14th and came June 21st. You can never really plan. Good luck!

I inserted 2 vaginally and took 2 orally daily per midwife orders starting at 36 weeks and by 40 weeks I was all thinned out and ready to go. Quick and easy labor and delivery as well

I put 1000mg gel capsule inside my vagina every night, and I’ve been thinking about taking it orally. My OB said it’s better orally, but I’m putting them inside because there’s some info on it I found that says it will help you not tear. I don’t know how true that is, but worth a go in my mind!
They won’t induce you, they will help your cervix soften, and prepare your body for labor. Raspberry tea will do the same, and so will walking, bouncing on a yoga ball, and sex. Oh and dates, six a day starting at 36 weeks. It’s not going to just throw your body into labor. It gets your body more prepared!

I've been taking them three times a day and inserting one vaginally once a day. I'm 37 weeks and been doing it for a out 3 weeks and my cervix is softened and I was Dilated to a fingertip last week and was at a 1 this week. It is tiring to insert everyday lol I'm so huge it's hard to do now.

When I mentioned it to my OB today, she told me not to take them 🤷‍♀️
