Successful vbac

So I had a pretty normal pregnancy no issues exit couldn’t retrieve my c section history from my 1st born (9 years ago) so my docs were weary on a tolac. 21 nov At 39+4 I went to my regular appt and didn’t feel baby as active as usual so they monitor me. Surprise I cannot leave baby’s heart rate keeps dipping. I go in to labor and delivery to get set up. 1st on call doc was telling me to just do a c section since my chance of having a vaginal birth is at 30% to him. I stick to my guns no I want to labor and if it comes to it yes I will have a c section. He didn’t like that so he said the next doc will help me at 6 pm. Well 6 pm is here another male walks in tells me my chance is 40% and I should do a c section, again no I want to try he makes me sign a form saying I am going against his medical advise and gives me the foley ball. Which wasn’t even bad to be honest. Before the ball I was a loose 1cm and 40% effaced. So that doc is gone, the new on call doc woman comes in checks me and 4cm 80% thinned 🙌 she is so supportive and tells me we can do this but not to be sad if we can’t. I start piticon at 7am around 10am my water breaks on its own lol it was so weird to feel it was like I kept peeing myself and couldn’t stop! After that the contractions are so bad! I got the spinal which felt so good. 3pm rolls around I’m at a full 10 ready to start pushing! I pushed for an hour and 20 mins, then my baby boy was born. The ring of fire was so much pressure if it wasn’t for the spinal idk if I would have done it. But no rips and so much for that 30% chance!
