How much does your boyfriend spend on you for Christmas?

I’ve been with my husband for 5 years (married for 1.5 years) and have never received a Christmas gift. We only buy gifts for children for Xmas, our nieces and nephews. He buys me things all year long so there’s no need to be forced to buy a gift for a specific day.

We do a 10 dollar agreement! 
Last year he got me one gift that I was able to make a margarita when I wanted to . He got hot sauce 6 pack. At many store they gifts that are under 10! This year he geting the hot sauce pack that has 10 different sauces.it the  thought that counts!!

One year he gave me $500 to start my sleeve. 
This year He might be getting me a new Mack desktop and camera lens I need for photography. He’ll probably do it on cyber Monday to save a bit. 
Every year is different though. I’m the creative one so I make lots of things. This year I’m giving him a teddy bear with a recording of our baby girls heart beat that was recorded before she was born an angel. I’ll be doing a few other things but that’s the main gift.

Back when my husband and I started dating (high school) we would do around $50 gifts. Then once we graduated and started making more money the price would go up. Not because we had a limit, just because we wanted to get each other nice things. He never really had a Christmas as a child so I definitely spoiled him (still do) for Christmas. & he’s just a giving person so he liked to spoil me.

I’m not sure how much he spends on my Christmas gift. He usually spends more for my birthday ($600-$800) and then a fair bit less for Christmas. I didn’t vote because I really am not sure. He has always gotten things for me that I either wanted and/or needed, and they have always been thoughtful gifts.

When we were dating, I gave him a book and he gave me a scarf. Maybe $25-$30. 
Now that we’re married maybe $30-$50. Last year I gave him a beeswax candle and a shirt to match our toddler and he gave me a new hat and made me an organization shelf for the basement. We don’t spend a lot of money on each other and both prefer handmade gifts
