How do I help my best friend?

She is suffering from PPD in a bad, bad way. She raised her son with her girlfriend for 2 years and then they broke up. This was about 7 months ago. She had PPD onset after she stopped breastfeeding at a year but had support so it didn’t start spiraling until the break up. She got into a car accident last night while driving drunk (kid wasn’t with her). She has tried medication that made it worse. The ex girlfriend and her mom always have her kid. She’s been out running around with guys, drinking, and maybe doing drugs. This is not like her at all. This is a convo I am currently having with her mom. We all just want to help... I live in another state so I can’t do much 😭
