How soon is too soon?

How soon is too soon to get engaged!? I’ve been in a relationship though for 5 months now and we’ve been talking about getting engaged soon and buying a house in September! We’ve already set a wedding date (jokingly). When did you all get engaged?

we moved in together after a month 
Got pregnant and lost our first baby a month later 
Got engaged after 6 months 
Got pregnant again and lost our second baby two months later 
Now we’ve been together almost 4 years and we’re 24 weeks pregnant with our rainbow little boy and I wouldn’t change a thing he’s my best friend and has been there like no one ever has for me. Sometimes when you know you know and for me even in the rough patches I knew he was my person 💙👨‍👩‍👦

Everyone is different. For me that would be rushing things a little, because I like taking my time to get to know them, I like the relaxed no rush type of relationship. No pressure, just us. However, like I said, not everyone is the same! My sister got engaged to her now husband after six months of being in a long distance relationship. They couldn’t be any happier or more in love!

We didnt get engaged until 7ish years and 2 kids later. But once we got engaged, we were married within 2 weeks.

Depends! I always think you need to go through something really rough with someone to know they aren’t just there for the good times. Something challenging or tragic that tests your relationship. You need to know how they react to challenges and if you can work on problems together

I think it can vary. But I think taking your time is best in a lot of cases.
I wouldn't recommend it until after 4 months at earliest. Depending on how much time you spend together.
