We are always fighting. Is it worth staying together for our child?

I am always fighting with my boyfriend. Like literally we fight every day. We have a baby girl together and I think for her sake, it would be best if we separate. 
We have tried counseling, but there is a lot of times where he is emotionally abusive and verbally abusive and I just cant take much more.  He says it is best for her to have her parents together...
What are your thoughts on a subject like this?

For the sake of your daughter realize this. Two parents living separate happy lives is better than two parents miserable together.

How long have you been in counseling together? My SO and I stayed together for the sake of our daughter when things were bad, it took nearly 3yrs of counseling to get to a good place with each other and actually feel like a couple and not just co-parents. But for me, I grew up without my dad in my life because my parents couldn’t get along well enough to do visitations or anything. I refused to take my daughter’s daddy away from her, so I was dedicated to finding a way to make things work between us no matter what.

Your daughter is going to grow up and think that’s normal. Two people don’t have to be “together” in order to be “together.” If that makes any sense. Your daughter doesn’t need to grow up thinking that’s okay and that’s love.
