Vaginal pain

Hello, do I just got off my period last week, and the last couple days I’ve been experiencing pain inside my vagina like a stabbing pain, but it only last a couple seconds then goes away. I’ve also been experiencing similar twinges only on the right side of my pubic area. In addition to that, today I had a weird feeling, pretty much the feeling you get when you know your period is coming. However that obviously doesn’t make sense since I’ve only been off my monthly for a week.

What could be going on ? I’m not scared but idk if I should contact my doctor or not.
