Has anyone tried their babies on a sippy cup or straw cup yet?

Tried a COUPLE sippy cups and he doesn’t get how to use it yet.
He never had a bottle either since he is EBF

We’re planning on only using straw cups & open cups due to the effect that sippy cups have on oral & speech development. We haven’t tried them yet.

We've tried the nubies he hasn't figured them out yet. My nieces are 9 months older then my son and it was so hard to get them used to them so we were trying sooner then later. I also think because my son is teething he is having a harder time with them.

My son really enjoys the open cups, with the help of me holding it of course! He does REALLY well with it surprisingly!

I’ve given him a straw cup so far. He likes playing with it but hasn’t gotten any water yet. My first was close to 12 months before he figured out how they worked.

I tried my girl on a sippy cup this weekend for the first time.. she hasnt gotten it yet.. but I also think the flow of water is too fast for her.. as shes still on a stage 3 bottle nipple. I got the Advent sippy cups and they interchange with their bottles a d the nipples. So I have put her nipple (natural) in the sippy cup lid; this way she is learning to hold the sippy cup but the flow is still normal to her. When i give her water i have had her try with the sippy cup nipple also have gaven it to her directly from a cup. She LOVES ice cold water.

Yep. My little girl is using a regular sippy, a 360, and a straw.
