Do I have an STD?

I have this burning sensation in my vagina only at nights and about once a month. I go to sleep and the next morning it’s completely gone. I went to the doctor to ask about it and they’re not sure what it is. They’re testing me for gonorrhea or chlamydia just to be safe. However, they said it’s unlikely that I have one since I’ve never had sex without a condom. I’m still scared regardless. What do you guys think? Should I be worried or should I wait until I get the test results to be worried?
