so yeah 10years and 3 kids later. we are not married. it has bothered me for a very long time i bought it up on 3 separate occasions and the last time he simply said “pick a date” this was about 3 months ago and he still has not given my ring back. (Gave my ring back about 1 year ago because we was having serious problems) anyway. to me it means ALOT marriage is something i have always wanted and the way he acts makes me feel like im making him marry me. idk what to do. it makes me so sad like crying sad and i wonder if im doing the right things. but also its been a long time dream of mine.

If he hadn’t said pick a date, my answer would have been very different. I’d say straight up ask for the ring back and start planning. When you run things by him give him choice A or B, so you get answers quicker and not leave them open ended

After all that time and having kids he's probably not gonna marry you. You already gave him everything so what's the point. Also men don't like feeling like just because they had a baby with you they should marry you. They feel trapped in a sense.
