Boyfriend throwing fit cause I wanna find out gender

My boyfriends mad because I want to find out the gender early,I wanted to do the sneak peek gender test at 8 weeks but he was like nope,is it fair compromise for me to do an early gender scan at 14 weeks at a 3D imaging place that specializes in early gender detection.he wants me to wait until I am 20 weeks for the anatomy scan.i do not want to wait at all if it were 100% up to me I would’ve found out at 8 weeks with a blood test,is the 14 week gender scan a fair compromise?EDIT:ITS NOT A MONEY PROBLEM.the scan is fairly cheap and we can afford it he says he “wants to wait for the excitement of waiting”
