Sleep sacks. No longer swaddling

Splash

So I've bought into the "no blankets in the crib, your babe will get SIDS" spiel. My son is transitioning from swaddling, so I leave him with one arm out at night. Last night was the first night I tried this (he is starting to break out of the swaddle more and wiggles like he is going to turn onto his tummy). It is cold where I live, like 27 degrees. I keep the house at 68, and he is in a long sleeve onesie and a micro fleece halo sleep sack. This morning around 3, he woke up cuz he was hungry. His poor little hand was freezing. Does anyone else have this problem? I put a fleece glove on his hand, and it was warm the next time he woke up. Just feels weird using a glove in the house...
