Heart palpitations

Does anyone else get heart palpitations?? I’ve had them before, but I’m definitely getting them more now. It feels like my heart is fluttering/skipping a beat. I noticed it only happens at night and after I eat. I got them nonstop for a couple hours the other day and called the on-call nurse. She didn’t seem concerned, and just told me to make sure I don’t have any chest pain and that they aren’t getting worse. Now I’m getting them again and I’m nervous about it, but I don’t know if it’s something I should call about again or what? Has anybody else experienced this?
