Please help, hormonal acne

Hi ladies.

In October I started to randomly get really bad cystic acne along my jaw. Mostly just the sides. Not my chin. They hurt and make me feel so sad. I’m worried they’ll scar. I try hard not to touch them. I had great skin prior to this.

I’ve made no medication changes or any changes at all really.

My dr gave me tretinon topical cream but I had to stop using it because it was so drying and irritating. I can’t be on birth control due to some migraines and stroke risks.

Any advice if you’ve had this? ☹️
