YOU ARE A MOTHER

I had something come up on my snapchat (you know how you can subscribe to channels and things pop up based on your choices right?!)

Well I follow "scary mommy" and a topic today was celebs who are shamed for choosing surrogacy. And it really made me upset.

I think all of us shame celebs at some point or another (omg her hair....you let your kid do that?....that's weird to me....ummm ok you do you...)

We are human we have opinions.

But what I think is awful is shaming people for going about the surrogacy route. It's like oh you paid someone to carry a baby? Well you know nothing about being a mother. Or you can't relate. Or look at you taking the easy way out.

THIS IS SO WRONG. I'm truly hurt by this.

You don't know that womans (or mans) story. Maybe they couldn't physically have kids. Maybe it was too risky to carry a pregnancy. Maybe they miscarried multiple times. Who knows.

Someone who adopts can be a real mom but someone who had a surrogate can't?! Um excuse me. Whether you were able to carry your child on your own or not; whether you had

or adopted or had a C section or natural or whatever......YOU ARE A MOTHER AND YOU ARE AMAZING. You are just as strong as the mother sitting next to you. 💕💕💕
