Transferring

So my bank took away the transfer feature online, and I have no way of getting rent money to my boyfriend so we can pay our rent. They told me to do a transfer they have to have my signature. My bank is in my hometown an hour away. I unfortunately don’t have a car because I just moved out. I tried calling them and they gave me a number to connect me to another credit union, but his bank isn’t with a credit union. I’ve been telling him for months that we need to get a joint account together, but he just never listens to me. He also refuses to move banks to the town that we’re in now because it’s “too much of a hassle.” His bank is over two hours away. I’ve been meaning to make time to go up to my hometown and close my account so I can transfer it over to where we live now, but we’ve both just been so busy with work and college. Ugh, adulting is hard 😪

Update: we didn’t know we could add another debit card on the rent website, so we did that 🤷‍♀️ Thanks for the suggestions
