quiet sex

my bf & i always have quiet sex and idk if he feels like moaning is girly or what but he also just doesn't say anything sometimes and it bores me😒 if i'm lucky he'll tell me he loves me. i usually try to say small soft things to him sometimes and i know he likes when i do bc he'll go deeper or faster. (isn't that what it means i mean idk i'm new to this sex stuff he's my only real bf and i just lost my virginity to him last month) how do i approach him about this without him feeling like he's not satisfying me (well he kinda isn't.) and hurting his ego ?
