When did you start putting baby in jumpers and swings?

If you put them in before 6months, did they have any leg problems later?

I believe 4-5 months. The jumpers all tell you to adjust the height so baby’s toes touch the ground and not their whole foot so they don’t develop leg problems.

I know what the directions say, but physical therapists say to have them on flat feet. They strongly discourage babies being on their toes, because it creates problems in the calves and Achilles tendon. 
My first I went by instruction, and had a terrible time getting him to walk flat footed, and at 4yo I still have to remind him. My second I placed him whole foot down, and he hasn't had the tiptoe walking tendency (yet)

Swing as a newborn. The jumper was height adjustable and 6 months when he started that. No leg problem. I didn't put him in a walker though and am against those for my son he did use a push walker when he was ready

We did once she could hold herself up well the only thing that’s super bad on their legs is a walker my chiropractor told me definitely don’t use those

I started putting my son in a swing when he was a newborn. I started putting him in a jumper when he was 5 months. It helps them build strength in their legs.

When the baby has great head and neck control, can sit up by themselves jumpers are ok. Swings are ok for short periods of time for newborns but should be careful of accidental asphyxiation.

5 months bc babe was hitting her milestones. She can sit up on her own, hold her heads really well, and can be in an exercauser at nursery school.
