Do you get your cervix checked?

I’m 30 weeks , and I’m scheduled for a c section at 39 weeks , my question is do I get checked to see if I’m dilating further down the road? Or because I’m already scheduled for a c section they won’t check me .

There’s no medical reason to be checked in general unless something is wrong. Dilation doesn’t give any indication of when labor is. And especially since you’re having a c section I wouldn’t let them check you if they tried 🤷🏻‍♀️

My dr. Doesnt check the cervix unless requested. I had a c-section at 39 weeks and the decision was made the day before I never had my cervix checked.

Usually they wont check you unless you are having contractions to make sure you wont go into labor before your c section.

I had a scheduled section with my first and my cervix was never ever looked at. Not post partum or anything 🤷🏼‍♀️ so I'm gonna say no! :P

Depends on the situation 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have to get mine checked every appointment but it’s by ultrasound until I start to dilate
