Fertility treatment

Got an appointment through today to have a US pelvis scan etc...

After my gorgeous baby girl was born sleeping in March at 29 weeks we've been TTC since.

I'm 42 and had a Dr's appointment just over a week ago to start the fertility route! It brings all different emotions to me and of course worry is right at the top.

I'm due AF anytime from Sunday to Tuesday and appointment is on Saturday, do I take a test before appointment to rule pregnancy out?

Just need some advice, calming words and just this was a way of me getting these worries out.
