IUI after 40, suggestions?

We are taking the less evasive fertility treatment and going with IUI next month. We have been TTC for 10 months now... all my tests are fine BUT my FSH day 3 is elevated and my hubbys morthology is low... any success stories out there in my situation? Please send your pros/cons of IUI...

You are better off trying IVF ASAP with ICSI to help with fertilization due to the morphology issue. If you wait too long, the odds of IVF working after 40 get worse and worse by the year. Trust me on that one! 42 was too late for me with IVF. Even with poor AMH and FSH scores, youth trumps all in terms of egg quality.

Pro-IUI is cheaper. Con because your husbands sperm it may be better to go straight to Ivf if yiu can afford it.

How low is his morphology anything lower than 2 percent will be very unlikely to lead to success. With 1 percent we had to to ivf icsi not even ivf was deemed suitable but ivf for woman of 40 only has 5 percent chance.

My fertility doctor bypasses IUI after 40 you can go straight to IVF. I think IVF would be your best best especially since they use ICSI method to fertilizing the eggs.
