My hook up catching feels?

I’ve been taking to this guy for a month. We’ve hooked up twice. One of those times I stayed the night. Recently I messaged him saying when should we meet again and he said he’s in study mode at the moment and he’ll let me know. I said no worries studying comes first. He goes “I know study is important but I wanna see you too”. I didn’t know how to take that.

He knows I’m going away but he asked me for how long and I said “just a week not too long” and he responded with “that’s kinda long, I’ll miss you babes”.

I told we should meet before then, even for a study break and he goes “yeah maybe we can get some food or something too”.

Am I reading too much into it but is he maybe catching some feelings?
