Does anyone receive joy from being able to give back to your parents?
Now that I'm 16 and have a job I literally love buying my parents stuff! My mom always say you don't have to get me anything but when I'm getting something for myself, I get her something too. She's got new necklaces and earrings and perfume. It just feels so good. I only buy things for my dad on special days like father's day, though. Last week I bought breakfast from McDonald's on a budget because I only had $8 until my next paycheck. He got mad at me for only getting him a biscuit. I accidentally stepped out of place and told him "I didn't have to get you anything at all." So after that "Who are you talking to?" look I knew I was in trouble and I am. My phone is gone, but I like this tablet better. 😂 I just really love to give back to them in the small ways that I can right now. Doesn't it feel super good to spend money on your parents?!
