called the wrong name

so right before we were about to leave for our date, my boyfriend of 2.5 years calls me by the wrong last name. my name is alexis however i go by lexi but sometimes he calls me by my full name to get my attention... well he called me alexis *blank*. not my last name. he went to school with this girl years ago and he doesn’t follow her on social media or talk to her.

i struggle with trust issues so of course i was veryyy upset and i cant stop thinking about it.

did i over react? or should i just let it go
