Flat head/head shape issues

For those of you with helmets or that have been referred to specialists, were any of your babies heads shaped like my LO?

My pediatrician has said if he doesn’t make improvement within 3 weeks she wants us to see a specialist.

My son barely spends any time on his back anymore. He occasionally will sleep on his back, but usually stomach or side. He sits unassisted (still falls some) and is almost crawling so he spends most of his time scooting around on his belly. He has full range of motion in his neck.

What do you think they would do if we went? And would you recommend we go to a specialist?

I know I need to trust my dr, and that this is just personal opinion. Maybe it’s just hard to hear, but I’ve had a few people tell me their babies heads looked the same and their dr said they would grow out of it by age 2 and their kids did.)
