Co sleeping / transition tips ?

My son is seven months and we have co slept/ breast fed his whole life . We have a crib in his room, as well as a pac n play w the bassinet portion next to the bed. Over the past few months i've occasional went through short periods of times where he would allow me to move him into pac n play for a few hours without waking . Well when he would go through regressions or teething, and would fuss all night, i just would sleep with him for the sake of getting rest myself. Anyway, i want to start putting him in his crib in his room but have no idea how to do this as he always falls asleep nursing and i have to wait until he's been a sleep for a few minutes . Lol should i get in his crib ? 🤣🤣🤣
