Do you judge other moms for the way they dress?

So I’ve been wondering, do other moms really judge the way other moms dress? Like does the way you dress maybe say something about your parenting?   I obviously don’t think that, and I hardly pay attention to what people are wearing unless it’s something I really like.  Anyway since I live in a place where it’s freezing outside 10 months of the year and I’m on maternity leave plus I have a ton of baby weight to lose still I pretty much live in baggy sweatpants and hoodies but I can’t help but wonder when I drop my son off at school and pick him up are other moms looking at me thinking “what a slob” or “that girl dresses like a teenager”.  I mean my mom used to judge and maybe that’s why I’m a little self conscious but I like to wear what’s comfy and if it’s my baggy camo sweats with a cozy oversized hoodie then that’s what I’m going to wear.  I’m still a great mom no matter what clothes I have on haha

I could care less what someone wears. As long as you feed, bathe and appropriately dress your child, it’s none of my business.

The only time I judge on what other moms wear is if for example it is cold outside and the mom is all decked out in warm clothing and the child has no coat or hat on.

I'll be honest, I'm pretty judgmental of other moms (almost never to their faces; I'm not that mean, I know it's hard) but I'd never judge a mom on how she dresses herself. Her kids? Oh yeah. But not herself.

Not in a mean more. I'm more along the lines of "holy shit! She looks so put together and clean! How does she do it?!" As I walk by oblivious to the fact that I have banana smushed into my jeans and a blob of scrambled egg stuck prominently on my boob 🥴

I’ve never paid attention to what other moms wear. I live in either sweats or basketball shorts. I work from home and one of the pros of working from home is not needing to get dressed properly every morning. I’ve often wondered what the other parents at daycare think.

I'm sure people judge me 🤷‍♀️ I'm typically in work out pants and a t-shirt. I work from home, my husband works long hours, and I have 3 kids and 3 dogs...I only get dressed on date night basically or family / friends parties. I'm comfy and don't give a fuckkk ✌

If I’m totally honest I might judge but I wouldn’t think it makes you a bad mom or anything to do with your parenting. Personally I haaaaaave to wear a little bit of makeup, and wear something half decent even if it’s for the third day in a row, I guess I’m vain or worried people will judge me (and here I am judging, the irony is not lost on me I promise). I just feel more comfortable and confident that way so my only thought would be “how is she comfortable looking like that in public? I could never” which sounds harsh but maybe more of a reflection of my own insecurities. So basically, just do you and what’s comfortable for you.

Yes and no. Or maybe it’s an I don’t see the point kinda thing. To me there’s no point in doing hair and makeup just to go out grocery shopping. I have better things to do then spend and hour getting dressed while chasing 2 kids.

Eh, I guess you could call it judging but it's like if its 40° out and I see a mom walking around in a crop top and booty shorts imma think youre absolutely insane. Same with if I see a new mom (like fresh out of the hospital) walking around in a tight dress and high heels. Imma think you're crazy but also like good for you cuz I lived in PJs for like 2 months after I had my daughter. But I never judge your ability to be a good parent off of how you're dressed.

I could see judging if you were at after school pick up and you have on some care Bear pjs I would probably judge but not for some sweats when it’s cold outside .
