Anyone who has done this

My husband and I have a 10 month together. He doesn’t ever help with her like changing diapers, feedings, getting up during the night when she wakes up (she’s teething) we haven’t been in a good place on I’m on the edge of leaving him because I’m not dealing with his verbally abusive self and I’m not going to raise my daughter with that. Since he doesn’t ever do anything with her and wants nothing to do with her would he even get her if we split? That’s one of my concerns.
