Disrespectful kids

I have 2 boys 7 and 11 and my 11 year old has zero respect for me. He speaks to me with such hate and anger all the time. I can ask.him a simple question and his tone is just disgusting. He tells me he hates me and how he hates his family. Im just hurt because i have raised him and his brother on my own and after leaving thier abusive father. He doesnt dare talk to his father like he does me and all i want to do is cry. I didnt raise my boys to be disrespectful but he is so mean to me i feel like i lost control. Any ideas on how to approach or fix this. I feel like my son will end up in juvi if i dont get help soon. He acts out in school and doesnt respect anyone but his father. His father does nothing for the boys. Goes weeks without even a phone call and he lives out of state so its not like he even sees them. Why and how does he have more respect for a man that does nothing for me. But treats me horribly and im the one who does it all... 😔
