Does this look like a yeast infection? I started 3 day monistat and it seems to just be making my vagina extremely irritated

Usually i take monistat 3 and it will be gone by that third day, no matter how bad it is. If yours hasn’t gone away it wouldn’t hurt to go get checked or see a doctor. Unless you don’t mind experimenting with the monistat 7 for a week, but the infection might clear on its own by then

My Dr. Recommends using 7 day and even that is super irritating at first so I imagine 3 day would have a burn that is pretty intense.

Yes it does and I’ve had the same problem when I used the 3 day my doctor actually said the 3 day is the worst because it’s a high dose of the medicine which is why it’s only 3 days and can irritate your vagina she said said she recommends the 5-7day one they work better I tried the 7 day and it infact worked much better
