Skipped period on birth control

So I skipped last months period using my birth control pills and had 3 super light days of breakthrough bleeding. Ever since then I’ve had some pretty bad cramps, sore breasts, and nausea. My period was due yesterday but hasn’t came yet. Could this be early pregnancy symptoms or is my period just late because I skipped last months?

Edit: I also have unprotected sex regularly and many times between the breakthrough bleeding and expected period.
