So at my church baby dedications are a little different. We go before the church as a symbol of planning to raise the child up in Christ according to the Bible toward the goal of the child accepting Jesus one day and the church as a whole prays over the baby and parents and promises to support the parents in discipling the child. The pastor comes and prays over each baby and parents individually. It was pretty powerful. This was back in November when Martha Jubilee was just a month old (we didn't get very good pictures).
