Does it get easier ?

My baby girl is 8 weeks and I’m exhausted ALL THE TIME and struggle to keep up with housework is it just me ?

Definitely not just you.. My LO is almost 8 weeks old and is getting attached to his mama so it’s getting very difficult to get my housework done.
But I just keep telling myself that he isn’t always going to want mama so I’m just trying to soak it all in.

No it's not just you. Having a new baby is HARD.  It gets easier though.

Not just you... I was diagnosed with PPD and put on meds. These meds have given me enough energy to clean my kitchen, bathroom, my room, my kids room (I have a 6 and almost 4 year old) and rearranged my entire living room myself. I haven’t had that amount of energy in 2 months since my son has been born!. I can get up in the morning and not feel absolutely drained

You are not alone. This is my second child and I struggled so much with an unclean house with my first. This time around I know it will eventually get cleaned or boss my husband around. I remind myself daily the needy newborn stage doesn’t last forever. More predictable naps will happen in a month or 2, and things will get a little easier. Nobody expects a clean house with 2 kids. I don’t expect perfection either. Give yourself a break and do what you can. It does get easier.

My little girl is 9 weeks and does not like being put down so housework is not the easiest thing to do at the minute. I can put her in a sling for a bit to get some stuff done but it's not long before she wants feeding again or she wants to play. I don't know how people get in to a routine so quickly, we don't have bedtimes or naptimes, or wake up times, everything is on her schedule at the minute, and that changes constantly 😂. I'm just enjoying as much of it as I can while I still have all this time with her, the housework will get done eventually. 🤷🏼‍♀️

It does get easier my baby is 3mo today! He is a colic baby but he has definitely been better since about 9-10 weeks. I also have modified something but he is so much easier now.

My 6 week old is certainly giving me a run for my money. People always say it gets easier but it seems like an eternity before that happens. And what if I’m one of the lucky ones who has a kid that doesn’t sleep until they are like 1 year old? I just wish I knew this would get better. And back to work next week. I’m going to be lucky to survive!

My daughter is 11 weeks and some days are still like that. She had a really good 2 weeks but this last week has been zero napping and extra fussy. Nothing is getting done around here.

Not at all! My babe is 8 weeks and I struggle to keep my pump stuff and his bottles clean. Then there’s all the other chores. I also tend to get a little anxious when my house is too messy. So I often use downtime to do stuff around the house. Like when my husband is home or if the baby is napping. But then I’m exhausted and all I want to do is lie on the couch the rest of the day! I can’t imagine once he starts walking and then I really won’t be able to keep up!
