Boyfriend went to strip club?

My boyfriend had some friends in town visiting and I guess they all wanted to go to a strip club so he went with them. He didn't make any attempt to hide it, he told me they were at the "(club name)" but I stupidly didn't realize until hours later that it was a strip club, and then I got a little pissed. He didn't seem to think it was anything - he said he was "far away" from the strippers and they were only there for like an hour.

Strip clubs just gross me out (not the strippers themselves - just the whole gross male culture around it) and I don't like that he was in there - but he wasn't hiding it or making it seem like he thought it was so sexy so I probably shouldn't have gotten upset. Would you?

Wouldn't care. I'd find something else to spend energy on. He was totally up front with you.

I'd be pissed. Even though he was up front about it. That's a boundary crossed for me. But my SO wouldn't like for me to be at a male strip club either. So it goes both ways.

I'm his stripper. ✋ I don't care for strip-clubs but I understand if he was rushed into plans with some buddies of his and went along with them. He was upfront and you need to give him credit for that.

Nope I wouldn't get upset at all. I've been to the strip club with and without my hubby and he's been without me too. I knows he's gotten lap dances and it doesn't bother me at all

Eh its not a big deal as long as he was up front. All guys go at least once. The more you try to restrict someone the more they'll feel the need to lie next time, so I always pick my battles wisely!

Once, I was hanging out with my husband and his friends. I was the only girl and the rest wanted to go to a strip club, so we went. My husband and I hung out in the corner and had a lot of fun drinking and dancing and the guys had fun of their own near the dancers. It was my first time there and it wasn't bad at all! I also stood with my back to the dancers so my husband could still watch. :)

I don't care for it personally - but if he wants to goin not going to stomp my feet and throw a fit. If it's an every day thing I think I'd be a little more upset about it. But if it's a once and awhile occasion - have fun. 😊

I wouldn't prolly like it but I would discuss for future instances. Luckily hubby went once as single guy with friends, hated it and will never go back.

Id ask to go with him next time. Nothing to worry about really. He went with his friends and was open about it. Inly wirry if he tried to hide it.
