Smoking weed has ruined my relationship

My boyfriend he’s been smoking for years when started dating he was on probation so smoking wasn’t an existing thing until the last year he’s been off probation an it’s a constant thing our money gets wasted on I want to settle down an everything with him but this habit has me thinking otherwise.i love him but he also has to love him.when he smokes he’s a different person he doesn’t care about anything he forgets everything, looses things waste money on more on buying more weed than he goes an buys drinks an everything else it’s really annoying at the point.i don’t know what to do .
