Symptoms of UTI in 22 month old?

My daughter will be 2 in two months. She woke up Saturday vomiting and with a fever. The vomiting lasted until Sunday afternoon, and went away. The fever lasted until Monday early afternoon and went away. Then Monday late afternoon she had diarrhea. And again later in the night after she’d already gone to bed for the night. Today, Tuesday, with all other symptoms subdued, she is still extremely fussy and now she has started holding her vagina and crying. She will put her hand in her diaper, also. She isn’t able to tell me yet if/where she is hurting, so I just don’t know what to do. I’ve read online that if she has a suspected uti, the pediatrician will more than likely have to use a catheter to collect a urine sample. I’m going to call her doctor tomorrow, but I’m wondering if anyone on here has had a child this young with a Uti, and if it sounds like my daughter has one now? Thanks in advance for any help with this.
