What would you do?

My husband and I plan to have our second child, but we just have different ideal timelines. I’m just wondering what you would do in this situation. I will be 36 next month. Our first child just turned 3. I was almost 33 when he was born and it only took 3 months of trying before we conceived. I was 203 lbs at the beginning of that pregnancy. I’m about 213 lbs. now and I’ve been taking vitamin b12 for the past few months when I found out I was deficient. (I found out because my hands have been going numb so I had bloodwork done. I had to have a c-section with my son because he was a big baby (9 lbs 4 ounces) and got stuck. Anyway, my husband wants to wait until “we” get healthier before trying for a baby. I don’t want to wait any longer due to my age and the risks that come along with it. I know that I should lose some weight, and I’ve been trying to eat better and exercise, but I’m wondering what you would do in this situation. I asked him to give me a timeline so I wouldn’t keep bugging him and rushing him to have a baby. He said probably at the end of this year (I’ll almost be 37 😩). Would you prefer to start trying right away? Lose weight first? If so, how much weight? Should I just try to be patient, lose weight and wait til the end of the year and pray everything goes well? Obviously it’s a decision that we both need to agree on, but I am wondering if I should continue to try to wait patiently or if I should try to talk my husband into trying sooner due to my age.
