So, I was out with my LO (10 months) picking up a few things and he was asleep in his car seat on the stroller and there was this little girl that kept staring at us, she was by herself, following us, lurking. I assumed she just liked babies and was just trying to get a look. Whatever idc. She eventually came up to me and with a straight face said, “can I see it?” And I was all like “yes, of course honey!” And moved his car seat cover and she looked at him and, with a straight face said, “how come he’s black if you’re white, is he adopted? How much did you pay for him?” 😂😂

I took the time to explain that his father is black and I am white and that’s where mixed race babies come from. But it took everything not to crack up. How much did I pay for him? Lmao. Too much!
