Pregnant or not

So i stopped taking my bc pill. It took a couple months for my period to come back. The first period i had after stopping was on January 4th. Ot seemed like a regular period for me. But now im 7days late this month. Idk of its my body getting used to not being on the pill or im pregnant. Im so scared. I already have two boys with my ex. Their only almost 4 and almost 3... just wondering if anyone experienced a late period after your first one when stopping the pill. I should add i always skipped the placebo pills.
