Advice needed: baby fever at the wrong time

Ever since my son turned one, I've been wanting another baby. I want kids closer in age because my brother and I are five years apart so we weren't close growing up. (Nothing like being ten, playing with Barbies and your bro is off to homecoming.)

But the thing is I have 1.5 years left of school and so we decided I should go back and finish before my current credits start to expire. Its an intense accelerated program with hospital internships so a baby is not a good idea right now.

If I get pregnant shortly after graduating than the age difference will only be a little over 3 years, but then u have all the pressure of getting a job and not getting pregnant right away because of maternity leave and blah blah blah.

Anyone else experience pressure to have kids within a certain age gap? Or you want a baby but it's not a good time? How do you cope with it?
