Want to conceive but no partner

Hi! I’m so glad to have found this group. My name is Rachel; I just turned 38. I lost a baby last June at 22.5 weeks — he was alive for 5 minutes. Less than w week later, out of the blue, a day after he begged me to hold him in my arms and comfort him (what about me?) my partner broke up with me via text. I haven’t healed yet from all this but oh how desperately I want the experience that was so magical to end how it was “supposed to.” I am ready to try, but I am single and live in central Louisiana. I can’t afford multiple months of a cryobank, so I’m considering using a free donor. Am I crazy? How do other ladies navigate these waters?
