Medication and therapy, did it help your anxiety?

My doctor prescribed me Zoloft which I haven’t taken yet and also told me he wants me to start seeing this counselor. I have had severe panic attacks for almost two years now. I hope this works. Did this help anyone else? I haven’t been able to hold a job in 2 years. I never want to get out of bed it feels like it takes everything in me just to clean. Cook, grocery shop etc... I want my life back
