Story time***

So I'm 22 years old & never struggled with hair problems. I had the most thickest curly afro in the family.

So I got pregnant hair got thicker. After I had my son 7 months later my hair was shedding. So i cut my ends. But a year later the middle of my hair wasnt growing fast enough than it eventually broke off. I shaved it low. It was always so itching and started coming back thin in the middle. It was growing nice again BUT the middle of my head wasn't.

I wasnt with my sons father at the time. So he went to get his son one day and seen me bald. He would always ask why would u do that, your crazy and so on. I loved you with your hair. It bothered me so much cause I had hope of getting back with him one day. I use to cry cause I had no control over it. Him Not knowing what I was going thru. Made me feel real low I started wearing wigs.

So....

I reconnected with an old high school friend. I use to date 6 years ago. My hair was growing back besides the middle so 2am in morning I asked if he can come over and help me cut my hair....

Him saying whyyy but never was against it but 100 behind me.

I've know my sons father for 5 years with him for 4 years and I have never felt that comfortable even with him...

This man helped but boyyy did he leave patches lol...I was so nervous about him maybe judging me because he didn't know I had alopecia either...

So we went to go some clippers and he finished the job

He rubs his hand on my head and says just cause you have no hair I still love u the same. Embrace it and be confident girl youre beautiful. Your personality makes up for your hair. Then we started cracking on each other. I CRIEDDDDDDDD.

Meanwhile my dumb self was chasing a guy that couldn't even love me at my lowest.
