Me and my baby’s dad haven’t been together for over a year. He still won’t get over the fact that I don’t want to be with him. I meet him in public places now because he gets abusive with me and is always doing something. Well I was getting my daughter from him and this guy was trying to hit on me. My baby’s dad was threatening to kill him and stuff. I have a right to converse with whomever I please or am I wrong?

This isn’t normal at all. He needs reporting to the police as this is abusive and controlling behaviour and you aren’t even together. Maybe look into full custody of the child.

Um, why on Earth would it be wrong for you, a grown ass single woman, to talk to whoever you want?
He's psychotic, and honestly, I'd consider having a middle person drop off/pick up your child if possible so that you don't actually have to see him. He seems to have entitlement issues over you, is violent, and psychotic

You need to get courts involved. If he's abusive towards you (exhibit A above in your post) there's a good chance he'll abuse the child too at some point. Better to have a legal third party involved
