Do/Have you done Hello Fresh?

Question

I received a coupon and was wondering if it was worth it? I cant see any of the recipes until I put in my card to purchase so I'm a bit hesitant. If you have used it what plan did you get and did you like it? Was it healthy food or super high in sodium which is my worry since its shipped.

It was great during our first baby’s infancy! We cancelled eventually because it was pricey but we koced it!

We loved it! We (myself & husband) chose servings for 4 with 2 meals a week. That way we had leftovers for lunch the next day. If you google ‘HelloFresh menus’ you can see the menu options for at least the next three weeks. Right now they are doing 10 free meals when you sign up.

I liked it for the most part. It just hard to keep up with cooking everything when we got too busy or tired. It was great for our lives when we started it and got us cooking more. However now that we are more comfortable cooking, we dont use it anymore. Also some weeks, there were not really great recipes. I do still love a couple of the recipes and it opened us up to more recipes ideas. It was great when we did use it but don't think I would use another subscription service again. It also took up a lot of space in the fridge bc we kept each bag together.

It’s fine if you aren’t totLly comfortable in the kitchen. I love cooking and found the exact ingredient for the recipe provided quite limiting. I also hate how much packaging there is.

We used it for a while and only canceled because of ups. Ups would never bring our order by a reasonable time and often would deliver it a day late. We really enjoyed the food and I do miss it’s I like having the variety because we just get into cooking ruts. We did the meat and veggie plan.

We’ve ordered it a couple of times! It’s a good deal if you have a coupon code but regular price it’s pretty steep. The main purpose for me ordering was I wanted to learn to cook some new recipes without getting overwhelmed trying to pick some online. We really enjoyed 4/6 recipes we tried.
