I lived with my mom when my now-husband and I got engaged. He lived with a roommate, but after we got engaged (2 years into our relationship) he was basically staying over at my mom’s house 3-4 nights per week and practically living there lol. He ended up actually just moving in with us 2.5 years into our relationship just because it was silly for him to continue paying rent when he was with me all the time. He’s really close with my family too so it was nice. We lived there for a year until we got married, and then moved out together into our own place 2 months after we got married (we had been together 3.5 years).
Though our situation was a bit different I’m sure because we met in college and got engaged a few months before I graduated, so we probably would’ve moved in together sooner if it hadn’t been for school and money being an obstacle lol.

My husband and I moved in together about 7 months in. To be honest, I dont even think we talked about it officially. It just kind of happened and neither of us objected lol.

So my husbands and my relationship progressed quickly every way lol. 
So he needed a place to stay for two nights when we literally just started to date and my mom let him. He got his apartment, I basically lived there anyway. Moved my stuff over. 9 months after we started to date, we were engaged. Exactly a year later we were married. We’ve know been married a year and a half.

My boyfriend and I have been together 9 months and won’t live together until we’ve been dating at least a year but that’s our personal decision, everyone is different. We’ve discussed where we will live and furniture and have agreed we won’t make any large item purchases without the other one knowing. I’ve lived alone for 2 years now and he’s only had around 10 months living alone so he doesn’t wanna rush giving up that freedom and I don’t wanna rush him.
