He makes our guests bleed

Hey ladies my cat is 8 months and he has an issue with scratching and biting. Not with furniture but with actual people. My roommate would have guests over while I was at work and he’d scratch and bite every time.

He makes me bleed often too and is biting harder and harder. I don’t know what to. My sister will be sitting on the couch minding her own business and he will just pounce on her and start attacking. Even when I’m cuddling him and he’s purring he’ll just suddenly bite as hard as he can. I googled it and apparently it’s supposed to be “love bites”?

At this point I’m scared someone will lose an eye. He’s clawed us in the face multiple times. He’s super spazzy, can’t ever relax, pupils are always dilated, heart always beating fast and he’s always in hunting mode.

I did look into declawing but I decided against it for now.

If have soft caps on your kittens nails did your vet help you put them on? What was the cost?

Also I’m taking him to get fixed soon, do you think once that’s over he’ll be calmer? Or does he need CBD?

And how in the world do I get him to stop biting?
